I think they get this request on every single one of their holidays. And guess what...I don't think it has been granted, ever. (Except for that one server fiasco from a couple of years ago)

Personally, I am already extremely thankful for all the extra time we got. The titles are insane to max, so the more often (or - the longer) we get them - the better!
So, you definitely won't see me bitching if the games stay a bit longer.

I will admidt this was prabably the least attended event thatI can remember. There where not many districts like before. Heck I went to LA saturday morning and was in district 1 not a single WTS at all. Not as busy as it use to be. I remember the first one and we had well over hundered districts for the event and LAGGGGGGGGGGG up the wazzo

Wait, normal weekend junk starts on Friday. They start a special event on Thursday, and you still want another day on top of it?

Maybe you should check the place where the festival takes place, instead of LA? Because over there, I did see over a hundred districts on sunday.

Since when did the Dragon Festival relate to LA? You should be heading to Shing Jea
Would be nice for it to run more day since some of these titles, gamers, lucky etc take an eon to max out so some extra time would be nice, along with dragon arena and rollerbeetle racing. So come on Anet do us a favor and pull off a little suprise for us please

That's great, however, the festival wasn't in LA. Did you check Shing Jea at all over the weekend? I was regularly in districts higher than 100.
You saying there was no one there was simply because you were in the wrong town, and it was empty because everyone was at the festival.

You know, the Dragon Festival is more or less a fourth of July celebration anyways. Why extend it another day for that same reason?

^ Yes, it's over. Victory Token collectors are still in town if you need them, including the guy who will give you a mask.

Seeing how the finale was on Sunday, July 5th, I fail to see how people could not attend the event. Unless your from Australia and are stuck with a most-of-the-day job or summer school where you cannot leave your computer on with GW running (as it would, mostly, be late night Sunday and Monday over there if I am correct).
And that is the case for every Dragon Festival so far. Especially the first - which was the exact same, finale held on Sunday, July 5th. The Dragon Festival is always the first weekend of July.

Also, I fail to see why it should be extended because of one country's holiday. 4th of July isn't celebrated everywhere, or even in a majority country, so why would it be fair to have an event specifically for that?
